Partners worked hard on finalizing the Training Modules<\/strong> and the 80 Teaching Resources<\/strong> for teachers, which cover a multitude of activities that teachers can use to further develop students\u2019 knowledge of food waste<\/strong> and internalise them deeply. These were created in accordance with the recommendations made by the consortium and the project’s principal partner, respectively.<\/p>

The developed online modules guide one thorough 4 sections<\/strong> covering an Introduction to Food Waste, Causes and Stages of Food Waste, The Consequences of Wasting Food, and How to Reduce Food Waste Daily.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Furthermore, they provide in-depth knowledge about food loss and waste, its causes and phases, how it affects the food chain, the environment, and the economy, as well as strategies for reducing food waste in daily life, and a quiz after each section to test one\u2019s acquired knowledge.<\/p>

They were created by GeInnova in English and then translated into all partners\u2019 languages.<\/p>

The Teaching Resources were created by all partners and they provide one with a range of activities to involve students with a different more engaging approach, namely with interactive and fun activities that require the participant\u2019s full attention and previously acquired knowledge to be successfully completed.<\/p>

Lastly, Petit Pas Aps provides the partnership guidelines on the piloting and revisions of the course materials; it was decided that the following national target groups would be used for the piloting of the PR2 materials: 40 parents, 20 students, and 15 teachers (according to the KPIs assumed through the project). The pilot phase is crucial because it narrows down specific bottlenecks or preliminary problems early on and by pinpointing potential problems in this phase, necessary adjustments can promptly be made before implementing the project result at scale. This phase will take place throughout end of May and June.<\/p>
